Update Finally!!!!!!!

So as you all know I am awful at updating my blog. I am now going to make it a goal to at least update it once a week I think even I can accomplish that!! (Lets Hope)

Well Since it has been a while I will start today. Berlyn is now 4 and a half months old!! It's such a bitter sweet feeling. It's so awesome to get to see her grow and change and discover new things. Its amazing how quick it happens. But it is also sad because she is not my little newborn any more. (All though she was never little)

We went to the Dr. for her four month check and she is already 15lbs and 15oz and 251/2 inches longer!!! The Dr. told us we could start introducing solid's into her diet now. We have given her rice cereal and she loves it! It was so fun to see her explore the cereal in her mouth.

I have also taken berlyn swimming. We went to my friend Cadi's apartment in salt lake and went swimming with her and her little girl Stevie who is 2 months older than Berlyn. It was so much fun Berlyn loves the water! She was so cute in her little crab floaty. her and stevie sure do like each other. They are so fun to watch when thay are interacting with each other. They will reach out for each other and giggle and coo as if they are talking. Although I think they do understand each other.

Berlyn has also discovered her feet. She will sit there and stretch her legs up to her face and jam her toes in her mouth and either suck her toes or chew on them. I just love her to pieces!!! She is so perfect!!!!

Berlyn's First Easter

We had such an awesome Easter with Berlyn. It was so fun to get an Easter basket for her even though she doesn't get it yet. It was fun for us.








We first went to Matt's parents for lunch. Berlyn got a bunny with a cute outfit on the bunny.
Next we went to my parents house in Eagle Mtn and had dinner with my parents, brother Skyler and his girlfriend Jen. We had alot of fun just hanging out together.
It was really neat to see Skyler with Berlyn. Easter was the first time he was able to hold her and that was fun to see.Everyone just loves to get to hold Berlyn she is definitely loved by all!

We had Berlyn's newborn photos taken on saturday here at our home. We had so much fun doing these photos. Our photographer Jen was so wonderful, she took some amazing pictures!

Berlyn was so good she was a little fussy when she needed to eat but other than that she did awesome.

Berlyn's First Dr. Visit

We went to the Dr. on Monday. Berlyn is already 9lbs and 14oz and is half and inch longer! i cant belive how quick they grow. She had her PKU test done and she did not like that one bit.

We are so greatful to have her she is just so perfect! Our days with her are mostly watching her sleep and feeding her. We just love being parents it is so rewarding!

Our Story

Me and Matt met almost five years ago on a blind date. We dated three years before we were married. We built a home in kaysville and have been here for one year and we love it! we have a Dog named braxton who has been our baby until we found out that we were pregnant right after our 1 year anniversary and were so excited to find out that we were expecting.
We just had our first baby on February 23rd at 7pm. She was 9lbs 2oz and 20 inches. We have enjoyed her so much and are so grateful to get to have her in our lives.
We couldn't ask for a better baby. We have been so lucky she is an awesome sleeper sometimes to good of a sleeper we cant get her up to eat!
She is growing and changing so much already! She is able to hold her head up on her own and loves to be talked to when she is awake.

We thought everyone would like to know how our new family is doing, so we thought we would start this blog to keep you updated!
