Blake Chloe

Blake Chloe was born on Friday July 23rd at 2:25 am. She was 8lbs 6oz and 20inches long. We went to the hospital around 9pm Thursday night. I had been having contractions since 6 and they were about every 5 minutes. We got checked in and they observed me for 2 hours and i was still a 3 and 80% and wasn't changing. So the Dr. that was on call sent me home. They gave me Demerol for the pain and said come back if you have breakthrough pain. We got home and the Demerol was not helping at all. The contractions were every 2-3 minutes and hurt so bad. so we got back in the car and headed to the hospital. When we got there they put me in a room and I kept asking for the epidural. They said they had to check me first. When the nurse went to check me my water broke and I was a ten and Blake was coming. I started to cry when they told me I couldn't have the epidural. We had Blake all natural within 8 minutes of being in the hospital. If we wouldn't have left when we did Matt would of delivered her in the car. After the dramatic delivery everything went great. Blake was healthy and I felt great. We came home Saturday morning. The whole first week was pretty tough because Berlyn had a cold so we were all separated me and Blake in our room and Matt and be in the living room. It was tough but worth it to not have a sick newborn. Berlyn is now loving being a big sister she is always laughing at Blake and giving her kisses and telling her she is pretty. Blake is such a fun Baby she is a happy baby so far. We are loving her and feel so lucky to have beautiful healthy little girls.
