Merry Christmas

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids. We went to Matt's mom's house for Christmas eve and had dinner and opened one gift. Berlyn was fun on Christmas morning. Santa left a gift set out for her and she went right for it. She kept dancing on it, it was cute! Berlyn had a lot of practice on opening presents for solstice and knew exactly what to do. After opening our gifts from each other and watching Berlyn play for a bit, we headed back to Matt's mom's house to open gifts with them. They always spoil us. It was alot of fun and we got some awesome stuff!!! Christmas afternoon we headed up to my mom's house to have dinner and open gifts. We had a yummy turkey dinner! My mom this year did a really neat gift! She gave all of us kids a personalized memory box. Our box had pictures of Matt and I as Babies and Growing up.There was one of Matt and Marissa at the beach and Skyler and I at the beach which was cool to see. There were some of Berlyn and it was fun to see how much she looks like both of us as babies. (She still completely favors Matt, but there is a little of me in there some where.) We has such an awesome Christmas!! We are so grateful for everything we have and our wonderful family's. We love you all! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Celebrating Solstice

Matt's Dad and Brian came up this past weekend to celebrate Solstice. For those of you who don't know what Solstice is it is the longest day and shortest days of the year. We had allot of fun getting to see them. We went to Marissa and Shaun's one night and Ed made Thai food. Grandma and Grandpa Gardner also came over and it was fun to see them. The food was Delicious we had a coconut milk soup, cashew chicken, Pa Thai noodles, and for dessert we had mango's and sticky rice. Berlyn loved the dessert. We got to have Berlyn open some gifts for solstice and Christmas. She got a ton of P.J's, socks, and some cute pants. Thanks Grandpa Ed and Brian. One night we also went to the Christmas Village in Ogden. Matt had Berlyn on his shoulders walking around and Berlyn was laughing the whole time she was up there it was cute. Here are some fun pictures of all the fun!

Fun In The Snow

We wanted to see what Berlyn would do out in the snow. So We bundled her up and went out to play. She loved the snow. She started to crawl in it and was laughing. Berlyn also tried to eat it. She had a blast! It was so fun to see her discovering new things! Here is a video of her playing in the snow. It is kinda long.
