Easter

Sorry this post is so late. We had such a fun Easter. Berlyn was cute this year and she is starting to get stuff which is fun. We took Berlyn to the Kaysville City Egg Hunt on Saturday. I was so excited that she was walking so she could actually get to the eggs. Berlyn only got about 5 eggs because they had candy spread out as well as the eggs and she found a sucker. It was all over after that, all she wanted was that sucker. It was pretty funny.
Easter morning we woke up and took her to her basket. She was so excited. Matt gave her some of her chocolate bunny and she was in heaven she just kept saying mmmmmm mmmmm! Later that day we went to my mom's house and had dinner which was really good. We had a funny Easter and can't wait for next year we will actually get to dye eggs.

Berlyn is Walking

So Berlyn decided she wanted to start walking. She still prefers to crawl because it is faster, but she definitely is becoming more comfortable with walking. It is so funny to watch them start out walking they stumble like drunk people. It is to cute!

San Diego

We went up to San Diego with Jake and Ellie this last weekend. It was so much fun and nice to get away from the crappy weather for a bit. Matt and Jake went golfing twice which they loved. Ellie Berlyn and I went to Sea World with Ed and Brian. We got to see shamo this time and Berlyn loved it.As we were leaving the Shamo show there were Berlyn got really mad because she wanted to walk like everyone else. We let her for a minute but she wont keep shoes on at all so she was bare foot and loving it. We went to pick her up and oh was she mad she was not done walking. She is starting to walk now just a few steps at a time when she wants to. She still needs help sometimes but is doing so good.
Ed and Brian watched Berlyn one night so we could go out to dinner just the four of us, which was nice. We also played in there pool a bit. Berlyn went right for the pool when we got there clothes and all. We also went over to La Jolla and went out the beach. I have never been over to that beach. It was awesome especially with little kids. There are a whole bunch of tide pools, crabs, and shells. Berlyn kept heading right into the ocean she didn't even care that the waves were hitting her or that it was cold she loved it. We also ate in old town before we left which we love they have the best Mexican food. I had an enchilada and was sharing with Berlyn and she got upset because she wanted to use the for her self and pick her food off the plate on her own. She was a mess she kept picking up the entire enchilada and shoving it in her mouth. It was so funny.She is definitely growing so fast!
We had so much fun and cant wait to go back again!

Matt Flying

For Matt's birthday I got him a certificate to go and fly a Cessna airplane. Matt is really hard to buy for and I can never surprise him. So silly me thought this was a good Idea :). Well let's just say he did awesome but I'm not sure he loved it! Every time the wind would blow a little bit the airplane would jerk to a side. That freaked both of us out a little. The flight instructor asked Matt if he wanted to do a zero G. Matt said no i would rather just slowly turn this plane around and go back. So we did just that. It was neat though to see SLC from the air that way. Matt said he did have fun and it was a good idea but he will never ever do it again.

Berlyn on her Birthday.

On Berlyn's Birthday we went to a childrens gym in Layton with Cadi and Stevie. It was so much fun they loved it. They were able to swing, play in the ball pit, jump on the tram ect.
Matt came home early so we went outside and played on her four wheeler. We decided to make spaghetti that night for dinner because it is B's favorite food!
Berlyn also had her 1 yr check up!
She is 21 lbs (50%) and 32"(96%). I cant belive how fast it has gone!She is also getting all of her molars at once!!!! Fun!!
WE are still loving every minute with her and cant get enough!!!

Berlyn's 1st Birthday Party

We had a Birthday Party for Berlyn on Saturday! It was so much fun. She was so fun to watch. We had lunch and opened some presents. We got her a crab sand box and stuck all the presents in there. She kept climbing in it to pull the presents out. She got so much fun stuff. Lot's of cute outfits for summer, books, puzzles, movies, sand box toys, dolls and stroller for dolls and much much more. Me and Matt got her a Barbie 4 wheeler that is battery operated and she loved it. She was so funny on it. We also had a mini cake for her. She had been practicing blowing out candles and new how, but she didn't want to on her own cake. She love the cake she kept sticking her fingers in the frosting and licking them. It was pretty cute! We had so much fun and cant believe she is one!

San Diego

Okay so we have been back from San Diego for a little bit but our computer wasn't working and then we have been sick. So her is our Trip in San Diego!

We went to San Diego for Matt's Birthday and to visit his Dad and Brian. We had so much fun we really need some warm weather. We were nervous for the flight but it went pretty well. On the way there she had a hard time because she woke up right when we got to the airport. On the way home she did awesome and slept most the way home it was so nice. We went to the Beach twice once just the three of us and then with Ed and Brian which was a lot of fun. We were able to see the Dolphins swimming around from the beach which was amazing! Berlyn also had a blast with the sand she just crawled like crazy in it. It was so fun to see her explore it. She loved it so much we decided to get her a sand box for her Birthday!
We also went to Sea World. They have a new play area for little kids it is a sesame adventure area. They had a place specifically for the little kids her age to run and play. She had so much fun watching the other kids and interacting with them. We got to pet and feed the sting rays and she thought that was pretty cool. I think her favorite thing there was the birds she love to watch them and got excited when they got close. We had lunch there and we had just got our food and a seagull swooped down and took Matt's sandwich off his tray. The funny thing is the sandwich was covered up so the bird pushed the cover over just enough to steal it. It was pretty funny. We ate breakfast one day on the Pier which was fun. We took Berlyn to the park by Ed and Brian's house and Berlyn had a blast climbing up the slide and swinging.
We went to Balboa park one day and walked around it is really pretty and has amazing building's with so much detail. We also got a chance to go and see the condo that Ed and Brian are buying in Lahoa which is two blocks away from the beach. They are going to use it as a rental and for when people come to stay. We are way excited to get to stay there. We also got a chance to see the house they are buying for them as well. It is in such a cute little neighborhood and is a really cool house. It also has a pool which will be fun to go and play in.
Matt also got to go to the Lamborghini dealership and see all the cars which was really fun for him. We had so much fun and cant wait to go back very soon. Matt and I would love to move to San Diego eventually. We love it there so much.
